Not Valid Name?
Okay, I am a sucker for scratch and win things. We got an ad in the mail for Sonic to win a free gift card so I scratched the circle and proceeded to the website to enter my magical code to see if I had won. Well, of course it was just a ploy to get all your information so that they can send you junk via email and snail mail but I am so hooked that I just have to know if I won. I entered in all of my information and pushed the submit button. It took me back to the original page and asked me to fix my name. Yes my name was not valid. I cannot explain it nor does it make sense but I just wanted everyone out there to know that my name is just not valid. Weird huh! I was thinking that it might be because there are only three letters in my name but there are a lot of three letter names out there. I am just so sad to know that my name is not valid any longer; to think that I liked it. Of course the computer took Brad’s name. He is quite proud and says that he has the better name; of course now he has all the junk mail though so this could be a good thing. 
I’m sorry it said your name was invalid.
My name feels in limbo too–and changing one thing depends on changing something else which depends on… etc. I changed my social security, but I can’t change my bank account until I change my driver’s license. But I did change it on our phone bill! 
Anyway, JOY is a wonderful name (I’m sure your mom would agree) and Charis told me it’s quite valid to her.

Joy- I like the name Joy and I think you should keep it even though it is no longer a valid name:) What do the people at Sonic know about names anyway? They need to stick to burgers, tater tots, and cherry limeades! By the way, do you still regularly get a cherry limeade? Yum!

I still treat myself to the WONDERFUL Cherry Limeades! I love them and I have two coupons for a Route 66 size now because of my invalid name.
Did I mention that I did not win the giveaway but they did not want me to go away empty handed so they gave me some coupons. I thought that was nice since my name was invalid and all. Anyways, Becca I use to pass Sonic everyday as well. You will find that your coin purse will dwindle but it is so cheap! Some days they even have the specials for 99-cent Limeades if you purchase it before 10:00. That was always a car stopper for me.

The name thing is hilarious! Who knew? I’m so glad Brad likes his name so much. I still think Sarah Sunshine would have been fun, don’t you? Sonic is YUMMY. Yea for you guys!

All I have to say is what does Sonic know about valid and invalid names?! While they may have some super awesome treats…you have to wonder about a restaurant that names itself after a fast runnin’ hedgehog video game character? I think they are just bitter cause your name rocks so much and theirs doesn’t.
