Explore A New World!
This crawling thing keeps me a little busier than I had expected. My big plan was to just put Charis in a room and let her explore around. Well, let me tell you that she is the best explorer ever! She can find the sharpest most dangerous hardest off limits things and surfaces in no time fast. It is so amazing! You constantly have to stop what you are doing get up and get her out of something that she should not be doing and place her across the room only for her to be back where you do not want her by the time you go sit down and start what you were doing again. It is so amazing! I feel the Pack-n-Play coming back out of the closet very soon. Just to be able to accomplish a small task for instance posting a blog. In the course of writing this I have retrieved Charis about 5 times and that is not including the times that I had to get her unstuck from a corner. She is so amazing! Even though this whole new world will take some getting use to I still love it! It is so incredible to watch her discover and learn about every little thing. Every stage and milestone is incredible to watch. I love having a front row seat even if I have to get up and down a lot from it!
I was amazed just to see her so determined to get where she wants to go! It sheds new light on her personality. She’s amazing (and so are her Mom and Dad!)

Oh Joy, you only know the half of it! Since Hunter started doing this a million years ago, I only get to sit down when he is sleeping!!! Start working out your feet to be conditioned to standing and going b/c it is already started for you with no end in sight! However, it is amazing to watch these little wonders discover the world. It gives you a wonderful reminder just how fascinating God made our world!

What a good mom you are to be able to go and get her a bazillion times! I’m worn out jsut thinking about you doing it!
God bless you and the little explorer! May all her journies be (I can’t think of the word) something fun and exciting and educational!

Cherish your front row seat! It is the best seat you will ever have until you get your final seat with our heavenly Father. Cheer her own, clap for her, encourage her and let her know you are her biggest fan (except of course her DaDa, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, etc.) I think we need to invest in some elbow and knee pads for her.
