All Rise…
I have found Charis sitting in her bed after naptimes recently so I knew it was just a matter of time before she would figure out that she could stand in her bed also. Well, today was that day! She usually cries for a bit when I first put her in the crib but she was crying more than normal so I went to check on her and sure enough she was just standing there screaming her head off. I think that she scared herself since she had never stood in her bed before. I guess that next comes jumping on the bed. 
Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it!!! How can she be so big? I know you’re waaaaay to smart a Mom to do what Dad and I did with Brad. We went in a million times at night to lay him back down and pat him til he went to sleep. (BIG mistake!) If she can get up, she’ll learn to get down. Thank goodness for the bumper pad. We put couch cushions all around the living room when Brad was learning to get back down. It took him a while to learn he could SIT down and not fall down.

Next begins the exploring of the crib instead of the sleeping in the crib! She will need to move her way around the crib at nap time pulling up and checking out the view from each new place!

Congratulations! step by step she’s figuring it all out!
Although I don’t see Charis flying out of the crib if she scared herself by the fact that she could stand.
