Mountain Climber
Chairs has turned into a real climber. She loves any obstacle to achieve! She will tackle anything from a pile of pillows and the stairs to just climbing over me. Nothing seems to stop her, as she is quite determined. She has even been known to climb over her toy basket. It is amazing to watch the determination on her face. I think that she may have a little bit of me in there with her strong will. Oh my that is scary!
We can’t WAIT to see all her new tricks!

Hey, Joy – She is one joyfully determined kid, isn’t she? It cracks me up. Sometimes I’m just amazed at her perseverance. (There is a lesson for me in there somewhere!)
I hope you two are having a great day – and I hope Charis is feeling better! Love, Me

Hmmm……. I vaguley remember seeing that
determination on another little face not so long ago. If memory serves me right, I think I remember another little girl who used to climb in and out of her play pen at a very young age. She was good with her toes and strong with her arms. She also loved to climb on top of our dog and see how long it took to get bucked off. Hmmmm, now who could that have been?

What an amazing journey! When I saw Charis she could sit up on her own but that was about it! Now she’s an adventurer! You may have a future mountain climber on your hands! She may break records one day.

I have to admit something–what if Charis doesn’t remember us when we visit and she’s scared of us?!? Please to show her many pictures of Uncle Matt and Auntie Becca in the next 2 weeks. We want niece time!

Becca, you are so sweet. If Charis does not remember you when you come for a visit there will be tons of time to hang out with her I promise! Then she will boo hoo when you leave! She often grabs her picture book that you gave her and crawls to me to flip through it with her. I must admit that your picture is still the only one in it (since you put it in). She likes to look at it then she gives it a good chew…trust me…right now that is a sign of affection with her!
