Praying Hands

Filed under: Happenings,Look At Her Grow — Joy @ 11:01 pm

For the past few months I have been praying with Charis before she eats. It has been a sweet time before every meal to just take a minute and pray with her. The neat thing is now when I say, “Lets pray!” she will put her hands together to pray. Brad decided that parents made up the holding your hands together when you pray to keep little hands from being everywhere especially in the food. I think that he just might be right! It is amazing to see the impact and influence that you can have on children even at such a young age. Charis does not yet know exactly what is going on but she knows it is something that we do and that it is special.

  1. What a precious reveltation!! Isn’t it amazing that little ones can learn to come to Him so early? I’ll be praising the Lord all day for what He is doing – and for your example in Charis’ life!

  4. How sweet! I never thought about it but prayer is one of those habits that need to be formed early, like saying please and thank you. And whether or not they know what it means, by the time they do it’ll be so engrained that it will seem wrong not to do it. Good Job Mom!
