I glanced quickly at the yard and there in front of me was the chicken…in my very own yard. I scared the living day lights out of her just by opening the door. She quickly well, as quickly as a chicken can “flew” up to the top of the fence and walked along the fence for a few steps before flopping to the other side. I will keep you updated if there are any more sightings. She lives in a temporary shelter under one of the neighbors pine trees. I saw her just a few minutes ago and tried to get a good picture.
