12:03pm
May 3, 2005 12:03pm: Seeing Charis for the first time and just being amazed that she was finally here! She was so totally dependant upon us for everything.
May 3, 2006 12:03pm: Watching Charis feed herself lunch and being amazed at how much she has grown! She is so totally independent.
It is the exact same time of day but oh what a difference a year makes. Miss Charis is quite able to stand her own ground now expressing everything from her wants to her needs to her demands! Everyone told me that the year would fly but I had no idea just how quickly a year could fly. The Lord has taught me so much through this little girl. Just so much about myself and so much about the world that we live in. I am so thankful for the gift and blessings that God has given me in Charis. I know that the years will continue to fly but my prayer is that I will savor every moment of everyday of every year. I wonder what the next 12:03pm will hold.
Happy birthday to sweet Charis! I have been thinking of you guys all day! It is amazing to think of this day last year and everything that has changed and how she has GROWN! We are loving getting to watch, even if FL makes it watching from the sidelines.
Love,
Becca

Happy Chompo to Charis!!! I’ve been humming her the Happy Birthday song all day! You are so right, Joy – where has the time gone? How can she be this big? It is so much fun to see her personality beginning to SHINE! We can’t wait for every day to come! Love, Me

Happy Birthday Charis! It is hard to believe she is only a year old but yet it is hard to remember when she was not a part of your life! The Lord has blessed us with wonderful, precious little girls! Give her a birthday hug from Hunter and Callie!

Happy Birthday Charis. You have gone from a beautiful baby that mom and day can be so proud of to a beautiful one year old that mom and dad can be so proud of. How fast 1 year does go.

Did she get to wear the fun birthday hats that are tradition in the Guilford family?
