Charis continues to do wonderfully with her animal sounds! Recently we noticed that the sound a frog makes had changed though and we could not quite figure it out. You see a frog use to say ribbit but one day the frog started saying gagung as if someone had been singing her a certain song about a frog. After inquiring with a grandmother we discovered that the certain song had been sung on a few occasions. Therefore, at our house the frog no longer says ribbit it now says gagung.

Miss Charis has some new favorite little songs that she loves to wonder around the house singing. We are not sure if she is saying something or just “singing”. It goes a little something like this, doowa doowa wadoo wadoo wadoo over and over again. It is quite cute that she has formed her own little doo wop song.

Charis’s new favorite book is 5 Little Monkey’s! It was a wonderful gift from our great friend Carrie! There was a hand puppet that came with it as well with the 5 little monkeys on it but I must confess that I hid it a long time ago. Charis became obsessed with it and I constantly had to wear it on my hand; not the fashion statement that I was going for. Anyways, not only does Charis love to read the book but she loves to just carry it around. It went upstairs and downstairs and all around the house with us today. The monkeys have little faces that stick up off of the page and she loves to touch them and just look at the pages. One must be warned though that she does not like to read the book at normal reading speed she likes to speed read it. It is just absolutely hilarious that was for some reason. Thanks Carrie for our new number one favorite book as it provides h-o-u-r-s of fun!!!
