Right Before My Very Eyes
This picture is so amazing to me and so hard to take in and comprehend! Right before my very eyes my daughter has grown. I have been there for almost every moment of it but somehow I still feel like I blinked and missed it! I was going through Charis’s closet yesterday and came across a diaper bag that Brad had when she was little (we had separate bags because mine was too girly for him to carry). Everything was still in this bag! It had been shoved in the closet and forgotten about. I was pulling out stuff seeing what could stay and what we would need new of for Cai and finally at the very bottom of the bag I came across a size 1 diaper. I must admit that there was a tear or two shed! We are up to size 6 diapers so this was just such a dumbfounding thing to me to see the two diapers side by side! Right before my very eyes my baby has disappeared! We are on the home stretch to the second birthday and I have loved every stage since her birth. I love how chatty she is now and that she can carry on a conversation with me but there is just something about her little self in that little diaper that I do miss!
I’m SO not comparing Charis to a dog, but I too was shocked when I looked at Sammy’s pictures this week from the day we got her. She looks like a grown up dog now. The “puppy”ness is fading away. But she’s still as fun as ever. I did cuddle with her a little extra yesterday though.

JOY!!! You prego mama!!! How are you doing? Thank you for the comment! I was so excited when I saw that you left a message!!! I can’t believe that that tiny baby I saw a year ago isn’t to tiny anymore. What an unbelievable mother you are. And with another one on the way…and don’t worry I’m not going to be in your shoes for quite a bit of time. Adam and I are making sure to avoid any activities that would make us a bigger family before we’re ready. Plus I do expect that the doctor will put me back on one very quickly. This isn’t a permanant state just a desperate quick fix. Thank you for your concern!!! I miss you!
