I have a new Cuttlebug! No, my cuddle bug has not been replaced he’s mine for keeps but my Sizzix has been replaced!!! After not being happy with my first idea for Cai’s birth announcements I was on the war path to find something that I could be happy with. After visiting a few craft stores I came across some Cuttlebug dies and really liked them. It turned out that they worked with my Sizzix so we snatched them up. Later that same day Brad was watching me struggle with my dear Sizzix machine and pointed out that the Cuttlebug machine could cut my Sizzix dies as well. After some thought and a 40% off coupon we were off to the store again. I am really impressed with the ease of the Cuttlebug machine compared to the Sizzix. Just one time through the machine and the paper is cut no smashing and smashing several time to get the die to cut the paper. I have fallen in love with my little Cuttlebug! The Cuttlebug also makes some super cute dies and embossing folders. The embossing folders are a world of difference from the Sizzix embossing folders and they have really cute images! Also the Cuttlebug takes up hardly any room at all which is a bonus in my world! It is nice not to lug the Sizzix around any more it just needs one more lug to the trashcan. It is sad as it served me well but I am all for products that do the job the first time and that have a cute name!
