Patterns Galore
Look what arrived last week! Yippeee! I went on a little bit of a shopping spree over at Monkey Foot Designs! I did use reasoning…honest…I reasoned that my birthday is in a few months and Brad could put a few away for me until then!!!
It is quite timely though as Kris is having a sew-along on the Amy Butler Sophia Bag pattern. I think that I am up for it. I am not promising a finished project but I am excited to at least get started! Come and sew-along with us if you like…it sounds like there are prizes involved…I knew that would get your attention!

haha the birthday reason is always the best.

Are Amy Butler bag patterns hard, Joy?

Are Amy Butler patterns hard…the patterns are really well written (a lot of people say that they have too many steps with how thorough she is) but that being said from reading a lot of things online (about the Sophia bag) it is a little tricky just because it gets SO thick with all the layers. The patterns can be a bit time consuming (all sewing is pretty time consuming to me though
). You could do an Amy Butler pattern!!! You made an oven mitt Becca!!! You could totally do it! She really breaks everything down well and there are a good amount of pics on her patterns as well.
