MIA But I Found More Fabric
I have been missing in action for a good bit but I am still here!
We have been trying to soak in as much of summer as possible while learning a lot about how to love each other well (there is something about having a three year old that thrust you into that) and I am also discovering that the world of siblings is amazingly wonderful and hard! There is so much for me to learn as I am an only child (which has its positives) but I want to parent our kiddos well as they are siblings to each other. So much to learn and put into practice as well as enjoy! That is a good glimpse of our summer thus far!
I had to post though and show two finds from JoAnn’s this morning. I was really surprised to stumble upon a whole bolt of (on sale mind you) Alexander Henry’s Bird Seed as well as Turtle Bay Rock! I snatched them up pretty quickly so much so that Sister even commented on my glee!
You might want to check out your local JoAnn’s just in case!

I love the birds! Do you have plans for the fabric yet?

The bird fabric would be PERFECT, if they were chickens. Ha. I hope Cai feels better soon!!
Love, G-Ma
P.S. YEA for great fabric!

Hey Christy! No plans for the fabric although I think that the birds may become a little dress for sister! We shall see!

How come loving your family is sometimes one of the hardest things to do? I often times find myself treating my acquantances nicer than my husband. Same with Landon; he is much more patient with his friends than with Collin. Ahh, something to pray about. . .
Is Cai sick?

Hey Jennifer! Yes he is sick! He has some virus that presents itself as strep but it isn’t. Odd! We are on about day 4 of a fever. The doctor assures me that he is on the mend and the fever should break sometime tomorrow if it follows the trend of everyone else here in town. Time will tell!

Love that fabric! I’m an only child too so I know what you mean about trying to parent siblings. It’s crazy at times but I’m so glad I have 2 boys. I tell them all the time that God mad them brothers to look out for each other (usually this is following some sort of wrestling – he he).
